The SIMD meeting will be held April 6-9, 2019, featuring:

A joint session in Seattle, WA with the ACMG featuring: "You took the call from the Department of Health. What now?" (Sat, Apr 6) "Could this really be metabolic? Dysmorphic features of IEMs" (Sat, Apr 6) and another session the same day, of paticular interest to SIMD mmbers: "Phenotypes of 'Single' Gene Disorders Are Complex Traits" (Sat, Apr 6) Novel IEMs and treatments Challenges in Organ Transplantation for IEMs including a panel discussion on Treatment decisions when the data are not clear and the treatments are not trivial Diagnosis of IEMs: Complementary use of Genomics and Metabolomics IEMs - Qualify improvements of patient care Nutrition treatment challenges of VLCAD deficiency Eye in IEMs Best of the submitted abstracts talks Travel award winners presentations Posters will be displayed for the entire meeting allowing their view during breaks and an Attended Poster Session Exhibits from top IEM companies A satellite session on Cerebral Creatine Deficiency Syndromes  hosted with the Association for Creatine Deficiencies. We will have a Contributed paper session featuring the abstracts of our travel award winners, and the opportunity to hear and support the next generation of SIMD contributors and members.
