SOCIETY FOR INHERITED METABOLIC DISORDERS 40th Annual Meeting: March 11 - 14, 2018 Paradise Point Resort, San Diego, California |
Each of us encounters challenging clinical cases on a regular basis. Sometimes whole exome sequencing or an unusual finding leads to a diagnosis. Sometimes we aren’t able to make a diagnosis and would like help from colleagues. The program committee has developed a new approach to allow sharing of interesting cases and maximize potential learning from these cases for the 2018 meeting.
We invite you to submit an unknown case for the Challenging Diagnoses Session.
Each submission should contain 4 slides including relevant history, test results
and other pertinent data. The deadline for submission is March 4.
How to submit:
Please submit a brief presentation of the clinical findings, metabolic and other
testing data, up to four slides per case, to Georgianne Arnold at
georgianne.arnold4@chp.edu.
Submitted cases will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Four of the most
interesting submissions will be selected for platform presentation at scientific
session 8.
Cases need to be received by March 1st and selections for platform presentation will be announced by March 7th
